CBSE NET EXAM JULY 2018 - Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the notification on behalf of University Grants Commission (UGC) for UGC NET July 2018 exam. The exam to be held to determine the eligibility of the candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor only or both. The selection of the candidate will be made on the basis of written (offline) objective type test. The eligible candidates can apply from the link given on this page. The last date of application submission is 05 April 2018 Extended to 12 Apr 2018.

CBSE UGC NET JULY 2018 - Eligibility Criteria
Not more than 30 years (As on 01.07.2018)
There are permissible relaxation of upper age limit as per Government orders. Here are the most common relaxations :
Note: There is no upper age limit for applying for eligibility for Assistant Professor.

CBSE UGC NET JULY 2018 - Exam Pattern & Selection Procedure :
The exam to be held to determine the eligibility of the candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor only or both. The Test will consist of 2 papers. Both the papers will consist of only objective type questions in 2 separate sessions as given below.
|PAPER - I||100||50||1 hrs (09:30am - 10:30am)|
|PAPER- II||200||100||2 hrs (11:00am - 01:00pm)|
- Paper-I shall consist of 50 objective type compulsory questions each carrying 2 marks. The questions which will be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.
- Paper-II shall consist of 100 objective type compulsory questions each carrying 2 marks which will be based on the subject selected by the candidate.
All the questions of Paper-II will be compulsory, covering entire syllabi of earlier Paper II & Paper-III (including all electives, without options). The candidate will have to mark the responses for questions of Paper-I & Paper-II on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Sheet provided along with the test booklet.
Note: There is no negative marking applied for the CBSE UGC NET Examination.

The eligible and interested candidates who want to apply, need to submit their application online. The candidate should read the instructions carefully to avoid making any mistakes on submission. CBSE UGC NET JULY 2018 - Application Fee :
The candidates are required to pay the application fee as per given details below.
- General : Rs 1000/-
- Non Creamy Layer : Rs 500/-
- SC/ ST/Pwd/Transgender: Rs 250/-
The candidates can pay the fee through Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card. In case of e-challan payment should be made in the Syndicate/Canara/ICICI Bank.
