UPSC CENTRAL ARMED POLICE FORCES (ASSISTANT COMMANDANTS) RECRUITMENT 2018 - Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for the recruitment of 398 Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants),  -  Recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) viz. Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force(CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal(SSB). The selection will be made on the basis of Written examination, Physical Measurement Test and Physical Efficiency Test conducted by the selection board. Nationality

A candidate must be either:

  • A citizen of India, 
  • A subject of Nepal, or A subject of Bhutan, or
  • Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania ( Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar ), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
